Help WIFI issue - No Authenication

Lurker
I have a Le Pan 2 with ICS. It is just over a year old. Today the WIFI stopped connecting. When it tries to authenticate, the tablet seems to loose the signal. When the tablet stops trying to connect the signal indicator is full strength.
I have reset the tablet, reset the wifi password (WPS2 PSK), Turned off the WIFI, and tried to connect to second unsecured network. Each time the LePan tries to connect, the signal drops out.
Any suggestions?
About 2 weeks ago, it was resetting whenever the charging cable was plugged in or taken out.

Thank you for any help.

Put the tablet right next to the router and see if that helps. If it does, the wifi antenna (in the tablet) isn't connected. (It's connected by a spring contact. If the contact loses just a little tension, the antenna can become disconnected.)

Thank you for the reply. I did try to use it right beside the router, no luck. Is it possible for the layman (hack) to access and repair the antenna?
