wifi issue

[Android Question]

I'm trying to connect to a secured wifi with my new android phone. it's asking for the 'identity' and the 'anonymous identity' then the password. *not trying to compare with this next statement. But I just switched from the iphone to the android and I had no problems connecting with the iphone. Yet no matter what I do I cannot connect this phone to the wifi. So what is identity and do i need to fill them both in with my user name?

That sounds like it is trying to get the details for an EAP network. It may be that there is one in range. If you are trying to do this you should have all the settings. If not then scroll to the bottom of the available networks screen and add a new network manually using the settings you know and correct network type.
