Wifi issues with EVERY ANDROID

every single android phone i have owned has had terrible wifi issues. like wifi completely or partially cutting out with no warning if even more than 3 apps are open, crappy connection even if it is fine 100% on my PC as quarter of the time, why the hell do androids have such bad WIFI

Well, determining the source of your problem might be best done by taking into consideration some realities --
-- Most of us rely on WiFi with at least some consistency. (Anecdotally I rarely have problems in my home.)
-- It's probably safe to say most of us don't use the same WiFi networks as you do.
-- The conclusion being there's more than likely issues with the WiFi network(s) you use, or how you've configured your Android devices.
So please give more details about your home network or wherever you're having so many problems, along with what devices you have. It's hard to make any suggestions with more info.

I thought i selected my phone when making the thread. it is Samsung J7V, but my previous, LG G5, had same issues. what details would i say about my network? it works great on my laptop almost 24/7, quite good speeds(10 Megabytes a second, when wired through ethernet), but my phone gets bad signal from it constantly, for some reason. and these are usually solved, at least temporarily, by closing out all apps and then disabling and re enabling wifi. but it gets annoying to have to do this seemingly every 5 minutes.

FWIW this is typical WiFi and internet speeds I get with an Oppo R9 Plus phone, at two different locations and different WiFi networks, and has been similar with other Oppo and Samsung phones I've had as well.

And I do find it's always reliable, no matter how many apps I got running. And I do see similar speeds and reliability with a MacBook Air and a tablet as well.

OK, as far as posting to a J7 thread, you made it clear that your issue with Android and WiFi involves several devices. So the question about what devices you have was based on an assumption you had different devices or you have multiple J7 phones. Most people don't own multiple phones that are the same model. Same brand maybe, but some model isn't the norm.
Anyway, whether your laptop works fine isn't the issue, the problem is your Android devices and the WiFi connectivity problem.
Do you have problems elsewhere too or is it just your home network?
If it is happening everywhere, do you have any kind of anti-virus/anti-malware app installed on your phones? Try disabling it and seeing if that makes any difference.
If it's only with your home network, on your J7 try disabling/re-adding your WiFi network. If that doesn't help, try disabling IPv6 in your router. Another thing to try is If your router allows it, try setting up a temporary guest network, using a completely different SSID and password than your primary network. If your WiFi connectivity is more stable using the guest network, cross-check the settings of your guest network and your primary network. Or just nuke your primary SSID, and set up a new one, some configuration setting in the current one is probably part of the problem.
