Root WiFi Issues

Does anyone have and issue with their android devices resetting their wifi connection? Whenever I connect my Gnex and or N7 to my wifi, it kills the connection then I have to reset my router. Thanks guys/gals. Both devices have 4.2.2...

If one device does it than its a fluke.

If two devices do it than something is wrong with the router.

Try hard resetting the wifi router, also check for firmware updates from the wifi router manufacturers website.

If there are no updates and you still have an issue try changing the security protocol of the router and see if the issue still persists, i.e change from wep to wpa, wpa to wpa2, etc.

I have seen many cheap wifi routers with badly implemented firmware be very fickle with wireless connections.

So I installed 4.3 rooted and installed paranoid android. WiFi works like a charm...can't saybthe same for my galaxy nexus....thanks all!

I hope you aren't restoring system settings after you install the rom? In Titanium Backup, that'd be anything red or green.

I'd wipe it again and uncheck "restore from google".

No I am not....its crazy that after the 4.3 install on the N7 seemed to have fixed the issue. I did wipe again still same issue with the g'nex.
