Wifi issues

I just purchased a refurbished tablet as a gift. I opened it to get everything set up for them and make sure it is working properly before they open it Christmas morning. The thing will absolutely not connect to my wifi. After resetting the router and trying to enter my password no less than 100 times it still will not connect. Any advice or should I send this back under warranty?

Make sure it's your wifi signal you're connecting to, not someone else's.

"Forget" the connection, then try again.

Passwords are case sensitive. Type it slowly and check each character as you press it.

Make sure at least one other device (computer, laptop) is connecting to that signal.

Try connecting to a friend's router (just to check the tab, of course, not to steal service.)

If it's still no good, I'd send it back.
