Help wifi keeps disconnecting

Ever since I upgraded my HTC Desire to 2.3 icecream sandwich I've been having eifi connectivity problem at home.

It constantly connects and the disconnected and then I have to go into settings to connect it to the home WiFi whenever I notice its on the mobile internet.

Can anyone tell me why this happens and how I can stop it. I never had this problem before (or not that I noticed it before)

Thanks,

Manny

Wifi instability issues following an update or other software change are common, sometimes even after something as simple as the installation or removal of a service sharing app or widget.

Without going into a long troubleshooting ordeal, the first thing to do is go into the wifi configuration area and clear all settings (with wifi first turned on). Then turn off wifi and shut the device down, then power back up and start over with the settings.

Some device updates include new menu settings, so when you do all this make sure you're seeing everything such as "manage networks" and "manage network options." A setting or two could be malconfigured.

Having the same issue ever since I updated to 2.3 however mine is going through a process of,

Scanning

Connecting to BusinesssHub

Obtaining IP Address

Disconnected

Scanning

Connecting

..................and continuously repeat and use up all your internet allowance for the month withing 20 minutes.. somehow..

Any possible way to stop this? looked in all the settings no good :( It doesn't even try to connect properly it literally connects, then disconnects straight away....
