Help Wifi keeps turning off

Just got a new Evo on a trade in...appears to be new (i.e. not a refurb). It's running the .6 version of 2.2. But Wifi keeps turning itself off. Anyone else see this happening on theirs?

Mine does, but only because I have Y5 Battery Saver and it is supposed to whenever I am out of the coverage of a known WiFi area. Perhaps you have a similar app running?

-are you properly and FULLY connected to a network and are able to surf the internet thru said network?

-have you tried it on other networks? both secured and unsecured?

what are your settings in wifi settings tab? the wifi antenna will close after a period of inactivity if its set that way...
