Help Wifi network not found

Hopefully someone is able to help me

1. Manufacturer - Motorola
2. Model - Moto G
3. Software version - 5.0.2
4. Specifics of the problem -
My phone is unable to find my wifi network at home. It used to work in the past but since a few days it isn't able to find the network. The phone does find other wifi networks and is able to connect to them without a problem. My brother his SII, a couple of laptops, a PS3, etc. are able to find and connect the home wifi network.
The router is a Linksys E1200 with firmware version 2.0.04.
I have tried this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brilliapps.wifiandmorefixer But it didn't fixed my problem.
Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Have you reset your home router?

I assumed the problem was with my phone because the other devices could connect.
