wifi not getting detected.

hi, there is a problem with my GNex .... my modem sometimes restarts due to bad net connection... but everytime my modem restarts my gNex loses its wifi connection and even when net comes back again wifi is not gettin detected ! thus im forced to switch off and on my phone ... or switch off and switch on my modem... either of which works... any suggestions ??
