Help WiFi not working after Kernel Flash

Hi, I am having real problems getting the WiFi to work after flashing the Kernel. I went into WiFi and it scans but wont find my WiFi and then stops. I have tried to enter setting manually but no joy.

The phone was rooted and now I have done a factory reset. everything else is working fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks :)
 
Did you try putting the original stock ROM back on and give it a go?
Might just be the ROM/Kernel that you are using......
 
You would do it the same way you flashed the Kernel originally.

Using Odin, you would need to flash one of the stock i9000 ROMS that you can find online easily.

You say that you flashed a Kernel (using Odin and Download mode on your phone I assume).
Just follow the same steps!
 
There arent stock "kernels".

You just need to re-flash the stock rom....it will delete the kernel and you'll have just the ROM
