Root Wifi not working??

So I rooted my brand new D2 and I am having serious problems with the Wifi. I can wireless tether just fine, but I cannot get the Wifi to stay on. No matter where I turn it on from, it turns on, searches for networks then just shuts off. And on top of that, my phone does not have a mac address, it just says unavailable??

Am I missing something??

The mac adress will only show up if wifi is on. are you running a rom? I remember I had the same problem with epic unleashed 1.1.

I am not running ROMS, but the wifi will not stay on. I have been lurking on other trying to see if anyone was having the same problem but no luck!!

I am as well but my wifi wont stay connected.

My phone is awesome due to cm7 but as far as stock, you can downgrade your router to wireless g. That will fix it but you lose n.
