Help Wifi notification issue

So I got my GS3 the day after xmas, and all is well, except that I seem to be getting a wifi non-availability notification every time I connect to my home network. I searched the forums, but it does not seem that anyone is having quite the same issue as me. The problem isn't non-connectivity, the internet works fine, I get the damn notification every time I walk in the house however, and I can't figure out why. My wife's GS3 connects fine without a notification which leads me to believe it may be something to do with the phone. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help. BTW its the stock Fios router, and I can't do the *#0011# trick either.
