Help wifi off during sleep

My Verizon GS3 SCH-I535 turns wifi off when the screen is off, and reconnects when I turn the screen back on. I'd like to keep wifi on all the time to keep data usage down. I tried the following:

1. settings > wifi > menu > advanced > keep wifi on during sleep > always
2. dialing *#0011# didn't work for me, so I downloaded the android service mode app to turn off wifi power save mode

Even after doing both, the problem is not solved. Does anyone know how to keep wifi on during sleep? Thanks in advance.

Restarting my phone solved the problem temporarily, but 10 minutes later it is back.

Do you have any Battery saving apps installed, like Juice Defender or others?

No, no battery saving apps are installed.

Well I didn't realize it but GO Power Master got installed when I installed the GO Launcher, and that was the culprit. Turned it off and it's fixed now. Thanks a lot for your suggestion.

Just give it some coffee, and then it'll stay up all night.
