Hey everyone, I hope I am in acorrect thread here.
I'm having troubles with my phone running Android 2.2 to stay connected on any wifi network for more than couple of minutes. My phone should be compatible with the b/g wifi standards, router is a TPLINK compatible with b/g/n standards. I have tried to set up b only, g only, mixed, different security set up (WEP, WPA, PSK etc.), however nothing seems to keep the phone connected. I also noticed that the phone does this on another networks, too. I'm hoping it should not be a problem with the wifi module inside the phone, because it is brand-new model which I received as a replacement instead of old one - had the same problems with wifi.
I'm wondering, is there some hidden settings in Android I cannot access to prevent this from happening? Or is it some router settings I have not tried?
Thanks anyone for any suggestion, this gets really irritating....
