Wifi Problem

My phone is a Galaxy S III.


I used to be able to connect at our wifi at home and now i cant seem to even connect. It gets stuck on "Obtaining IP Address and then it goes Poor connection" even if the wifi signal is full because we have a wifi extender. I've tried doing the #0011# trick but when i press dial it says "USSD Code running" and then "Connection problem or invalid MMI code".

first things first. wifi is a bitch when encountering problems.

first turn off you phone. then try restarting your modem/router and let it boot up.
then turn on you phone and go into the wifi settings. try to connect agian.
if fail\s try to restart the device.
