Having trouble using internet on may Galaxy s. It identifies and connects to network, but nothing will load. After a while it says that "network connection is required for this application". Any ideas? Laptop's working just fine on same network, so I can't immagine it's the router.

make sure u typed the correct WPA or WEP security code (i'm pretty sure u did but just to be on the safe side)

u mean tha "password" for the network, right? That is correct, since it connects and if u chech status it sais the signal is strong, 54 mbps.

no, not yet. but i will. but i just can't see why it wouldn't work, since it says it's connected...

Try couple different wifi networks I hope it works if not just exchange it to a new one because I use wifi a lot also its pretty frustrating when wifi doesn't work

ok, now i tried even another two wireless networks with the same problem. it connects, but nothing's loading...looks like i might have to send it back...

I tried only my WiFi at home so far, but it works very well.
Maybe you should try a "reset factory settings" before considering bringing it back to a Samsung service center, if it really doesn't work at all, you've got nothing to loose.
