Root WiFi Problems

Lately my WiFi Signal is very poor. I consulted the DSL Provider and everything is good with router. Laptop receives excellent signal. I am sitting with Esteem at laptop and signal is poor. What could be the problem?

Is there maybe a neighbor that has a non-secured router that the phone is trying to connect to? Try going into the WiFi settings on the phone and "forget" your router connections and then log back into it.

I have noticed this aswell. Since i bought the phone. It may just be that the other phones/ laptops have a more "optimistic" value to their signal meter. I'll try wifi analyser on my Optimus M and see how it compares to the Esteem.
