Wifi Problems

Hi there

Ive reset my phone and cleared all the data. I cannot connect to any wifi now. It tries to connect and obtain a IP address and then drops out of just comes up with authentication problem.

Can anyone help.

What device have you actually got? You could try resetting or rebooting it, just in case it's acting funky.

Try changing your Wifi Channel.

1. On your computer go to Start
2. Type IPCONFIG
3. Write down your default gateway IP address
4. Now, go to the internet and type in your default gateway IP addresss....and NOTHING else (no http or www or anything.....just your default gateway IP address)
5. Enter your user name and password for your router
6. Select Wireless Settings
7. Change the channel to any one that you see on the drop down list.
8. Save the changes and exit.
