Help Wifi problems

Most of the time, my Moto X can see my wifi at my house, but it wont connect to it. And sometimes, it does connect, but then when i'm away from the house, it shows that it's still connected. This has to be a problem in the phone because all my other devices work fine.

Actually, i don't remember having this problem before KitKat, but i can't say for sure. Any ideas?

Did you do a Factory Data Reset after updating to Kit Kat?

Thom, I honestly don't remember. I think I probably have, but I can't swear to it.

The symptoms you describe are pretty odd.

It is recommended that you do a Factory Data Reset after any major system upgrade. It is such a pain that I think you would remember if you had done it. It will wipe all apps you added and all contacts and customizations.
