I have a question about the settings for wireless network in Android.
How can I make it show the connection type and what type of router I have?

I can tap on an active connection and see it shows I'm connected at 72mbps but how can make it show if is 802.11 n or g and how can I see networks on 5Ghz N? I have dual band router but I don't think my phone is?
My phone is a Moto G.

By default your wifi connections are not shown. But there are apps on the play store that do what you are asking

Here are a couple of suggestions. The 'Wifi Analyzer' app is good for giving you more info on your phone's WiFi connectivity. For things like 2.4 or 5 GHz it also shows you more exact channel frequency numbers. Take a look at its screen captures on its Google Play page showing some of the different things it does:

If you want something more descriptive about your WiFi network, try the 'Fing' app. If you do a basic scan of your home LAN it'll show you what devices are connected to it, plus a lot of contextual menus that will show you a lot more networking and diagnostic info.
