On my S3 there is a setting to set the phone to stay on Verizon's network while in a wifi network area. The problem i had is while on Veriozn's network & phone's wifi is set to off the phone will go back to wifi. I contacted Verizon & they contacted Samsung, there is a way to set the phone up like this without turning wifi off. On this setting if wifi is turned off i stay on Verizon's network but then i can select wifi & connect back to a wifi network.
