Help WiFi shuts off when screen is off

Even when I completely disable the new (free) version of JuiceDefender, my wifi connection continues to turn off when the screen sleeps. Obviously, this isn't very compatible with use of sipgate and other VOIP service that needs an active connection to connect an incoming call.

Wifi comes on and immediately connects when I re-awaken the screen (even if I don't enter my access code).

What might be turning off the wifi? And how does one stop it?!?

go to settings->wireless and networks-> wifi settings then click the menu button (far left physical button) select advanced and you will see wifi sleep policy
