Help Wifi Slow on Apps

[Gadgetgirl128]

Hi everyone, I'm an iPhone deserter and just got my Note 4. Love it!

One thing is perplexing me. On some of my apps (mainly Facebook, Google Play, scramble with friends) the wifi downloading time for pictures and graphics is very slow or not even downloading at all. However, if I am using Chrome to access FB or Google Play on that same Wifi connection its very fast. If I am on cellular everything is very fast.

Why are my apps lagging on wifi and what might I do to fix it? I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling to no avail.

Any thoughts are appreciated!!

Had similar issue. My Play Store, Instagram, etc would load pics soo slow.

Turned out it was my router. If your using a router see if your IPv6 is turned on, if it is turn it off. That fixed it for me and now everything loads quick when I'm on wifi at home.
