In advanced properties, I've set the wifi to go off when the screen is off, but the tablet continues to receive email when the screen is off!
Can anyone shed some light on this, surely this is not supposed to happen.
I noticed this too. I've got the idea that wifi only shuts off when standby for a while, not right away because after a few hours, I don't get any mail updates anymore...
This is so on all Android devices that I tried - wifi doesn't disconnect immediately but seems to wait for any activity to finish. When I'm listening to radio over wifi, wifi will never cut out for example, even if the option to turn off wifi is set.
