Root WIFI TETHER question

so i just flashed to dd03 2.1 and rooted with v7. on my Moment
i installed WIFI TETHER and it does not work. i get a error message saying NO NETFILTER... any ways of obtaining this net filter or maby a way around?

i can connect to the wifi network set up by the phone, but get no internet?

You need a Kernel with netfilters install, there are several stable ones available....joey's is not one of them however. His and jerdogs kitchen does contain several options for ones that do however. Im using littlekernel as it is based off of joey's and have had no problems with it and tether works like a breeze.
