Try changing your network ssid to FoxFi98 with open security..

EDIT: I had it working before I updated to v10d the other day. Now it's not, I'll have to try and see what I did before.

You weren't running the new update before.

I'm not updated, May activate the phone Friday and see if I can get it working

I had to use the lg software update tool. The kdz flash tool wasn't recognizing the phone. I was able to keep most data but lost root (re-rooted) and everything I modified in the system partition.

I tried using firefox eith the plug-in for user agent switcher and still nothing. And i tried the wifi tether treve-mod apk but i get mss clamping faild:/

download Fox fi and Fox fi key pdanet and jb tether it works altogether

I tried the foxfi free today with USB and pdanet. Kept getting the metro sign up page in Chrome. but surprisingly I could pretty much get to where I needed to go with ie11. the metro site still popped up but not as often.
