Help wifi tethering

I just loaded CM7 04052011 on my (metro) ascend and it works wonderfully but i have not been able to get the usb or wifi tether work as anyone had this problem and is there a fix

Update to the newest CM7.
I think the tethering work for it, I have barnacle wifi, but I never tried.
