Help WiFi Troubles

Hi,

I know there have been other posts about this issue, but none have helped me. So hopefully someone can help now.

I have just downloaded a software update for my SGS.
Now, when i try to browse on the internet, it says that the page can not be displayed.
My twin sister has the same phone and is not having these troubles. Were both using the same internet thing.
I can still use gmail to send and recieve emails and can still use facebook, so ther wifi is working (there is no phone reception at our house, so there is no way that it could be using that internet)...
how do i fix it? its super dooper annoying!

when u say software update, do you mean updates for the apps?

How about uninstalling those app that were updated and see what happens?

no i plugged it into kies and then updated it through there.
i had troubles with my phone and took it back to the place where i got it from, and they told me that the problems would be fixed with that update... but now the internet wont work :S

im new to all this. but im pretty sure the update was called froyo or somthings :S i have nooo idea! haha sorry.

That update is the OS equivalent of a computer. 3.g winxp to win7 the simplest way to test if the phone is already is a hard reset (aka reformat). It is recommended to do so anyway for best effect (from the upgrade).

remember to backup your stuff before doing so.
