Wifi turning off by itself

Just very recently I've noticed my Wi-Fi has been turning off on my phone by itself. I have to turn it back to on manually. I've always preferred to leave it on at all times. I keep noticing it turned off, it does seem like its after prolonged non use but I can't figure out why it never used to do that.
 
I'm getting the same thing and pretty sure it has to do with the 4.4.2 update. Took me awhile to notice it was even happening.

I usually have to restart the phone to fix it.
 
Well at least I'm not the only one haha. Ya same thing restart to fix. Sometimes when I attempt turn wifi back on it wont move to on. Or in the actual settings screen itll move to on but when I go back to main settings screen its back to off position.
