Root WiFi (unsecured) connectivity

hi there all i'm a bit new to this but ive managed to install several different roms and the only problem i am having, and i am having it with all of them, is that when i connect to an UNSECURED wifi network everything data just stops. ive tried monster (4,5,5.1,5.2,5.3,bravo,lunargen). i am on lunargen right now and the same problem. ive tried everything.

sometimes when i connect unsecured the phone will lock up and when i reboot it has deleted programs that were open. i wanted to try stock++ but it has been removed =(

any other suggestions?

flash with odin, wipe, wipe, wipe, mount & format, flash stock +, flash rom over.

its just broken data, to fix u flash stock++ (has working data) before u flash the rom you want.
(try flashing req0's 900mhz kernel (link) after! your phone will FLY if its compatible.)
