I have a Moto G phone that I've been using just off WiFi with no plan since August. Worked great until about 10 days ago when I couldn't post to Instagram (upload time out) or to FB messenger. Posting to FB timeline would take over 60 mins just for a screenshot.
Any wireless device that comes here to use my WiFi has the same upload prblem, but all speed test apps show the same upload and download speed from wireless devices (including netbook) as it does when Ethernet is plugged into PC. I am getting anywhere from 20mbps download to 4 to 9 Mbps upload.
All mobile devices work off WiFi at other locations instantly (including fast food parking lots with free WiFi and one bar).
We have tried three different routers, opening all ports, disaing firewalls.
Resetting the router allows about 3 images to quickly send or upload, but after that nothing-- just 45 min upload times which times out most apps like messenger or instagram.
I am so frustrated and thinking my only choice is to switch from this broadband company to DSL.
The company is coming Sunday to try out their router. This started happening out of the blue 10 days ago.
