Help WiFi weirdness

Hi - can anyone help? The past week, the speed I can get on my Galaxy S6 from home wifi, and 4G, have both plummeted. 4G is clocking in at 2-3 mbps, and whilst laptop gets 30-50 mbps from home wifi, phone is getting about 0.3mbps. Is this an issue with my phone? Any ideas appreciated

Sorry, forgot to say, S6 running 6.0.1 (best my carrier provides.. ), non rooted.

As you're getting this weird slow connectivity with both WiFi and 4G this would be a sign the problem is 'probably' on your phone. Have you installed anything recently that would correspond to this problem? If you restart your S6 into its Safe Mode and do a speed test, if the results show a bandwidth improvement that would at least indicate some third-party app on your phone.
Another thing to at least try is boot up into Recovery Mode and wipe the system cache partition. (The system cache is different than general app caches and it has its own dedicated partition separate from your general data partition so this won't affect your files and things at all.)
