wifi woes

i used to have my home wifi on my motorola droid, but now it's gone. when I try to connect, I get a series: authenticating, connecting, disconnected. What am I doing wrong?

Try a battery pull and then turn your phone back on, see if that resolves it.

Hi sxmead and welcome to the Android Forums.

What version of Android are you running on your Droid? Stock, custom rom, what?

Did you try updating the firmware on your home router? Which make and model do you have?

Welcome to the Android Forums!

Reboot the router and/or unplug it for a minute or two. This type of problem usually fixes itself after a period of time.

Also, forget network and sign back in with the correct password.

I've already rebooted the router and forgotten the network (although it keeps popping back up with a "connect" option only after a long hold). Is my password the key/pass phrase on the side of the router? I'm not sure which passowrd I'm supposed to be recalling.
