I am a computer geek an old one but still a geek and I am new to the pads. Just got a Superpad III with Android 2.3. I am trying to connect to my home wireless connection and my superpad goes as far as trying to find the ip address and then it goes looking for another connection when it can't find the ip address. Redid the connection setting on the superpad and the same thing keeps happening. Is it defective or am I doing something wrong.

As long as your home router is set up to supply DHCP ip address is should automatically assign it to the pad. If it is not setup that way you will have to manually enter the information in including a free static IP on your subnet, mask, gateway and DNS server. Plus, if you've got security on the wireless connection, you'll need the pasphrase.
