Hi,

im having problems keeping my WIFI off.

i go into the wireless settings and i turn it off but if there is a WIFI connection close by it automatically tries to connect to it even though i have unticked it in the settings.

it seems to be constantly scanning for a device.

is there anyway to keep it completely turned off until i actually want to use it? i looked in advanced settings but nothing is there.

add a wifi HTC widget on ur home screen and switch off the wifi from ther

yeah ive got that already but its just doing the same... will switch it off but then straight away come back on trying to connect or scanning

I use widgetsoid and that works all the time.
