I have a galaxy s3 from sprint smart phone and it will connect to wifi everywhere but my parents house and the password is correct
 
Any chance that the name being used by the router at your parents' house is the same as the name of some other router you've connected to? Android remembers security settings by the name of the wifi signal, and if you've connected to one of that name with different settings ...

"Forget" that connection and try it again.
