Root wifi

So i want to broad cast wifi off my phone from a current wifi connection so it will reach my tv or even extend the range of the signal is there anyway i can do this??
 
and since I can't seem to find a way to edit my last post, I have to double post... this should probably be posted in the general forum, not the root forum.
