Just started using "Beta by BehradGH: CyanogenMod 7.1 2.3.7 RC 2.2 "2011.10.21" "Cyano Ace"" However for me it drains too much battery, does anyone know of a rom which is balanced in performance and battery usage.

guys i need help!!!
actually its my first time trying a custom rom so since you guys are all experienced people i wanted you to tell me the best rom( I have heard cyanogenmod is the best)
and also please tell me how to install it actually i googled it but on every website they show a little different method so i was confused.

Ya I saw that but I cant really decide which cyanogenmod i should install actually I have heard that cyanogenmod 7.2 is not that stable with samsung galaxy ace
so can you please tell me how it works and stuff

Hi. I'm currently running cyanogenmod 7.2 Cooper and very impressed. Can anyone tell me if there is a good stable ICS rom. Heard cyanogenmod 9 will be out soon if not already?

Hi I was using CM 7.2 Cooper and what a great ROM. I am waiting for CM 9 as well but tried this last night - iCandy By Adwait_ICS7.2_V1 - stable and what great battery - ditched my power man app and been running my wifi/data with download and browsing non stop and after over 24 hours still over 50% charge left and still going strong.

Also flashed with CWM with no problems in a few minutes.

How many roms apart from CM are actively maintained?

It seems a trend of developers is they make a rom or app or something and then they simply get bored and stop.
