Will a factory reset delete my voicemails?

Hi,

I am not sure where my voicemails are stored but I would like to hang on to them since I suspect they are located on the SD card.

Thanks,
Rich

I have no idea where they're located but I did a hard format of my Evo on Saturday (with my SD card removed) and all my voicemails are still there.

They usually get stored on Sprints side not on the phone. You can actually check your voicemails from any phone usually because they are stored on Sprints servers.

Just to be safe you should email them to yourself.
Click on the vmail you want, menu, forward, type in an email address.

Not completely true. If your voicemail messages are not older than 5 days, they will be pushed to your device again after your visual voicemail app is activiated. Messages over than 5 days will be gone for good after factory reset.

One way to save your old messages is to forward them to your email address(es) before doing the reset.
