Will a faster Micro SD card improve music playback?

Love my Eris, except for its music playback. With the SD card that came with it I have about 5gb of music. The music UI is choppy as can be, borderline unplayable at times, the lag is really bad. I've read other posts about faster cards improving performance on the player, but none really elaborating on the music playback.

Anything stored on the card will be accessed faster so the answer is yes. Class 6 is what you want.

Report back! I thought I read somewhere that the Eris couldn't take advantage of anything faster than class 2. Still, it seems to me that this should work.

I'm using a class 6 right now. The main difference that I have noticed is that the music starts playing the second I select a song from the library, the display has to catch up a little.

Class 6 cards have a noticeable improvement. They read the music a lot faster thus an better experience listening to your tunes.
