Help Will evo4g display when bluetooth connected

When a call comes in and my bluetooth is connected, it doesn't ask me if I want to answer with the bluetooth or with the phone. This is frustrating because sometimes I don't realize the bluetooth is connected. Like I get in the car and the bluetooth is in the console and turned on, the phone connects but I don't realize it. I try to answer the phone not realizing it is working through the bluetooth and I get nothing. . . hello, hello, heeeelllloooo.

I would like it to be like my iphone. When it rang and the bluetooth was connected, it said "anwer with bluetooth" and "answer with phone" (or something like that). Is this feature in the menu somewhere that I don't know about? I am running 2.2 and will not be upgrading to 2.3 as it totally screwed my phone up and I had to revert back.

Sorry, don't know about bluetooth. Maybe look in the Apps section, someone in there might know of an app for that if the settings aren't there.

Also, how did you revert from GB?
A lot of people in the root section are having problems after accepting the OTA.

I rooted both my phone and my wifes phone. The one phone still had 2.2 on it. I created a backup of the 2.2 phone and copied the backup over to the 2.3 phones sd card. Then restored the 2.3 phone using the 2.2 backup. Then reset the phone to factory settings (just settings, not rom). From there I had to put all the apps back on, put the gmail account in, and do all of the other personalization stuff. All the non-functioning that came with 2.3 went away and the phone works perfectly.

Finally, I made a backup of the phone and saved it to my PC as an insurance policy.

Well, this wasn't exactly what you were asking, but if you look in the upper left hand corner, if the phone is connected through the handset, the phone icon will be green, if it's connected through bluetooth, it will be blue... If you hit the menu button, it will allow you to toggle between the headset and handset...

Yes, I see that now, never noticed it before. Thanks for pointing it out. However, it doesn't show up until after you answer the call and then you have to fumble around through menus while the person who called you is going "hellllloooo, anybody thaaaaaayyyyyerrrrrrrrrrrrrr".

Hopefully someone at google is working on adding this feature. I am pretty sure this is the only thing about my evo that is worse than my iphone.
