Will I have to upgrade to JB

When available, will the upgrade be required?

I ask as I use the S3 mostly for business - no Facebook / twitter stuff. I have a few games for travel, large music library, use Navigation (ibolt car dock), and link to my Mac for email / tasks / calendar. Everything works just fine.

I already hear JB does not work with ibolt car dock; I would guess there will be problems getting re-synced to my Mac. (I use Missing Sync).

So, will I be able to stay gracefully on ICS - and if I can, any reason I shouldn't? I don't like to fix what ain't broke for me; worse, I really hate to break what ain't broke.

Follow up question.

If I do upgrade to JB and find too many issues for me to handle, can I go back to ICS?

which provider do you have? if you dont accept it on t-mobile you have the option to be pestered by a reminder from every hour in increments up to every 24 hours.

if youd like to go back to ICS you will probably need access to a windows computer. find a stock rom for your specific model and flash it through odin.

As others have said you don't need to install it, I would recommend you do though as it improves the phone.

I have AT&T. If I would have to do what you said to go back then I will stay put until I hear at least the issue with the ibolt car dock is resolved. Giving up something I use for things I probably wouldn't use (e.g. Google Now) doesn't make sense to me.
