Help Will I lose bluetooth unlock if I encrypt?

I've just finished setting up a Z3 Compact on 4.4.4 stock retail and am using the Sony bluetooth unlock with a PIN.
If I encrypt will I lose the bluetooth unlock facility?

What do you mean by encrypt?

Future software updates do not support bluetooth unlock do if you upgrade above 4.4.4 then yes, you will lose bluetooth unlock.
