Root will it work?

Can the cyanogenmod 10 systemui.apk including the notification bar work on the lg motion? If so can i get the apk? Sorry for the noobish question :p
 
dl cyanogen mod then extrac it. but resizing will be needed i think. ill try when i get home at 3pm
