Will New Phones Be Coming To VZW Soon?

Heres my situation. I just found out that i need to upgrade to get grandfathered into the unlimited data.

I have Droid X that's on its last legs and need an upgrade. The Razr Maxx was my first choice, but the price pisses me off. The D4 was beautiful, and i would get it in a heartbeat if it had the battery life that the Razr Maxx had.

I'm mainly pissed at my DX/Android in general, b/c i find touch screen typing to be horrible, it's sometimes laggy, and battery life sucks nuts. I am so sick of having minimal brightness settings etc...

I don't really mind paying full price for a phone to keep my unlimited contract if i have to.

I'm not up to date on all this tech, but is VZW planning on releasing a new phsycial keyboard droid with extended battery life, or a new type of Razr Maxx?

The Razr HD is supposed to be coming late summer. Basically the Razr Maxx with an HD display and 13MP camera. That should be a killer phone. Not sure about a physical keyboard phone though, no one is really making those much anymore.

i could personally care less about the HD screen.

What i want is a d4 with extended battery, but i don't know if thats coming.

I will probably get the Maxx, so i don't have to worry about charging (what a neusance!)

Apparently there is a $100 off 3G-4G discount, have you checked on the to help bring the MAXX price back into a range you would be willing to pay? Try calling telesales about it...

Battery life on the D4 is great. I'm averaging 16-20 hour charges using Smart actions and Juice Defender with Wifi and LTE. If a QWERTY is a must, you shouldn't really write the D4 off.

I'm in the same boat although the battery life on my X is great but that's because I purchased a new $4 battery in the last six months. If your phone is really that laggy, I'd suggest doing a full wipe and reset.

I'm going to pre-order two S3s today, the day before the data share deadline. When I get them, I'll sell them on ebay and pocket the cash until Verizon releases all the new phones that they have waiting until after they think they can force everyone to shared data. I'll then purchase the phone I want at full price and keep my unlimited data.
