Root Will not activate!

I have done an .sbf, wiped cache, and a factory reset but the phone won't activate! It fails every time. Any suggestions?

You are getting to the screen to press "1" to activate and it fails? Or you don't even get to that screen?

I had the same problem, took me about 10 tries. Not sure why.
Try pulling the battery and trying again. I did that a couple of times.

Listen to the entire option description and then press 1. I know it sounds silly but anytime I jump the gun and press 1 as the lady is saying "...press 1 for..." it tends to fail.
