Will not charge unless rebooted

S7 edge will not charge unless rebooted and not logged in to use. It says it's charging except no lighting bolt showing on battery. Do not matter if wired or wireless. has newest updates installed. It started around last major update. Anyone else with this problem or help?

Can't help with the issue directly ... BUT NOW is the time to make sure you have backups of everything you need... Photos, data, documents, notes etc.... While you still have an active device.


That done, if you are under warranty, you can arrange a repair...

If not... You could try a factory reset... Without restoring any apps and see if that Fixes the issue... If it does load all your apps and data back. If not there could be a hardware problem.
