Root will pimp my rom work on lg motion

I have the app but havent installed everything. I did the net tweaks and everything was cool.
Anything concerning boot animation scares me. I heard issues with fonts to.
But i dont care about those as much yet. I am more into things like net speed ,radio power and sensivity,cpu ,memory tweaks.
 
Thanks really appreciate it and yeah I only used the tweak tab like you and I'm also scared doing something with the boot animation. Hopefully we get cm10 on the lg motion because it would look nice.
 
Changing the boot animation is more than harmless, there is almost no possible way anything can happen.... That is unless LG signed the bootanimation.zip too :p But, they didn't, because I have the Windows Nexus boot animation :D Its on my CWM backup and I always change my bootanimation and my shutdown animation ;) Believe me, its harmless..
 
Anyone tried surface dithering or purgable assets yet? And what's up with the entropy generator? I'll test if no one else has..

EDIT: So I tried the entropy generator.. It put me up to 4096 bits.. I guess that's good? Purgable assets works with no drawbacks that I can tell.. Surface dithering made it very slow and a bit choppy.. Anyway, I'm gonna keep tinkering til I brick since I haven't bricked yet :)
 
Honestly, and this is just my opinion. I would recommend AGAINST installing PMR. I did it and ran quite a bit of the tweaks and after a few days started having lots of problems with my phone. Random reboots, hangups, erratic scrolling, launcher took longer to load at reboot. On top of that, after reading in another thread about the build.prop and various tweaks I did MORE research online and I see quite a few people (coders/devs) who say that the vast majority of these "tweaks" are just placebo effect. That they don't actually do anything. Here is the post where I talked about all this stuff. I'm still waiting to hear back from coders/devs on OUR phone to give opinions about all this stuff though.

yeah thats true man. when i installed the app i thought it was gonna work but it just messed up my phone. i removed it and knpw my phpne is working normal.
 
I'm have problems after installing and applying some tweaks. Many of my apps are now freezing and i have to force close them. I've applied the rescue packing and also the nandroid backup. I even did a factory reset. Still having the same issues. Any help i could get will be much appreciated.

I've never used the unbrick guide so someone will have to deny/confirm this for me. Even after running the "undo" function of PMR (can't remember what it was called exactly) and uninstalling the app I was looking around in my build.prop and there are STILL a bunch of entries in there from PMR(this is even after a factory reset). I'm honestly probably going to either push a stock build.prop to my phone or sit down and change the differences manually. So LOOKING at your build.prop and seeing what's there could be a good place to start as well.
 
trust use the unbrick method i had the same problem like you and i used the unbrick method and my phone is now running normal. trust ne the unbrick method will work for you
