Will rooting cause problems when the official ICS update comes?

Greetings, I was wondering if I rooted my 10.1 to increase the processor speed while it is still in 3.2 honeycomb, will problems arise when Samsung officially launches the ICS update on this tablet? or is it perfectly safe?

No it will not Celebrei all rooting does is allow you superuser access.
It shouldn't give you a problem when ICS comes. I can't wait to update.

Correct, as long as you don't delete pre-installed apps while rooted. OS updates usually check for the presence of such things, and balk if they don't find them.

So maybe worse case scenerio...just unroot then run the update...then reroot... That is what i will do atleast.. I myself wouldnt trust running the update while rooted...not exactly sure what could happen..better to be safe then sorry

Just make sure to back up your ROM before changing anything then you can restore back to tgat
