Help Will rooting void my warranty?

I have to send my admire back to Samsung to have them fix it, my phone is rooted. Do I need to factory reset b4 sending in to be fixed?

Rooting generally does void your warranty. (depends on the carrier)
Couple things, a factory reset WILL NOT remove root/unroot and often times a tech won't even notice it's rooted (but that's a risk you take).
I'd take a peek over at the Root section and see if you can easily unroot your device.
